About Us

Suzanne O'Barr has worked in the pet industry since 2002. After working for corporations for 20 years she left the sales world to pursue her love of animals. Prior to this she owned and operated her own computer supply and software company. Suzanne owned a dog boutique for about 5 years before going to work at Fluffy Puppies. She operated the store for 7 years before buying the business in 2019. 

The prior building was originally the fire house for Clearwater. The building was home to many different businesses before becoming Fluffy Puppies in 2004. We were there for almost 20 years before moving to our current location.

When Suzanne bought fluffy puppies, she branded the business logo with Oliver's outline to honor her beloved Papillon. Oliver started as a sickly, one and a half lb pup with pneumonia that had a strong will to live. He quickly became the joy of Suzanne's life and enjoyed a cushy lifestyle with her. Calvin and Chloe were Italian greyhounds and were as comfortable being couch potatoes as they were going for joy run on the golf course! Suzanne adopted Stanley when a customer's neighbor became terminal and could no longer care for him. He was 8 years old when they were brought together and recently passed away April 1st, 2024. He would have been 15 years old. We all love and miss our Manley Stanley.
